I started as that student-athlete who wasn’t sure where to go, what questions to ask, or how to know which opportunity was truly right for me.

Looking back, I realize I didn’t choose the right place for who I was or where I wanted my future to go. I’ve often wondered how different that experience could have been if my family and I had someone in our corner to help us understand the process, evaluate our options, and look beyond athletics when making such an important decision.

That experience is a big part of why I founded New Age Athletic Consulting.

Today, I want to provide student-athletes and their families with the guidance I wish I had. My goal isn’t to push an athlete toward the biggest name, highest division, or most impressive offer. It’s to help them find the place where they can succeed athletically, academically, and personally.

Every student-athlete's journey is different. If we can help make that journey a little less overwhelming, give families more confidence in their decisions, and help a young person find a place where they can truly thrive, then we're doing exactly what NAAC was created to do.

I’ve been that student-athlete. Now I want to be the person I wish I had in my corner.

Brandon Collins

Co-Founder & Head Of Athletic Development

As a student-athlete playing sports—primarily football—I always knew I wanted to play at the professional level. Unfortunately, that dream did not come to fruition. Although I never achieved my goal of playing professional football, I was able to attend college, play the game I loved, and graduate with a degree in Computer Science.

Looking back on my high school and college athletic career, I realized that certain resources were available while others were missing entirely. One resource available to me was MaxPreps. While MaxPreps served as a useful tool for recruiting, it was surface-level and lacked several critical elements student-athletes truly need. Key areas overlooked included transparent communication, helping student-athletes identify which schools are the right fit, ensuring academic clarity, and guiding families on what is required to maximize their student-athlete's potential and success.

Having walked in the shoes of a student-athlete, my mission today is to make sure every athlete receives the recognition, support, and appreciation they deserve.
